• Question: Do you miss your home whilst you are working in Antarctica?

      A bit, yes. Luckily, I’m pretty used to living away from home as I have had to live all over the place in my past. I think the worst bit is being away from friends and family – which is hard on them, too.

      I also miss a lot of the things I liked back home, like take-away pizza, meeting strangers and hiking up big hills! But there are cool things here – like riding snowmobiles and exploring crevasses that make up for it 🙂
