      Hi Bubble confette!

The space shuttles are my favorite spaceship ever!

I have been to see the Space Shuttle Atlantis in Florida and been so close I could have touched it! I also got to see the launch pads the shuttle used. Check out my profile for a photo of the pads.

I have also been a space shuttle simulator at Kennedy Space Centre where the entire room tilts vertically to simulate spaceflight and then goes upside down for when your in space (I was strapped into a seat!). That was really exciting!

I used to enjoy watching the space shuttles launch 🙂 have you ever seen one launch? If not, here is one the best videos of a shuttle launch I have seen:

Not in a real one, but when I was younger we used to visit Space Center Houston and they had an area that replicated part of the interior of the shuttle that we could explore. There was also a flight simulator where you could try to land the shuttle. Nailed it!

      Hey Bubble confette!

As part of my job I go to NASA Johnson. One of the fun things to do outside of the busy meetings is to go play with NASA Hardware!

Ive been in one of the old shuttle simulators several times. Its a favourite for visitors to sit in the pilot or commanders seat and get a feel for what it must have been like to fly it.

But for me the coolest thing I have ever done in drive the Mars Test Rover that also have at JSC:
