Well, if you’re accepted as an astronaut, there’s at least two years – and usually a lot more – of training. You keep training and training until your flight comes. Astronaut Tim, for example, spent more than five years in training!
Apparently, the hardest thing for him was learning how to speak Russian – and important part of the training with the Russians 🙂
