Until 2010, Britain really didn’t contribute much of anything to the ISS. However, Britain has contributed quite a bit to robotic space exploration, including the upcoming ExoMARS mission. 😀

The UK is part of ESA and ESA is part of the ISS programe, so we have contributed through ESA. Recently the UK joined the ISS programme itself and also joined a project called ELIPS, which means that UK scientists like us can fly experiments on ISS! This is all really exciting. And I can now say, we have an astronaut in orbit now too! Tim will be on ISS shortly and will be doing lots of cool space science!
