      There are a lot of things astronauts can take to space. On top of the usual packing (clothes, shoes, toothbrush), during the shuttle era they could pack a personal kit with 20 items (each item must weight less than 1.5 pounds). iPods are pretty popular as are e-readers. Some astronauts have taken musical instruments to space, like bagpipes. What would you take to space?
