      I check my emails a lot because, for our ISS experiment, we have friends in Belgium, Germany, and Denmark helping with different things. Email is the main way we communicate because phone calls would get to be a little expensive and some decisions need to be made quickly.

      I have my email inbox live all the time on my computer and phone. I get lots of emails that need me to swap my plans for the day around, or reply quickly. So that helps me keep on top of things.

      And it tells me when you AstroFans are posting questions that I need to come and answer!

      @279nch25,

      Most of my work requires working with people around the globe. Because we are all in different time zones, its easiest to communicate through emails! I constantly have my email inbox open whenever I am at work so that I can always keep on top of things.
