Hi @226nch25 thank you for your questions!

Firstly, to do my job, I have had to train roughly for 4 years – 3 years for my undergraduate degree, and 1 year for my Masters degree. That was enough to get me into what I am doing now (PhD researcher). Although I made sure I had good grades in my Science GCSE’s so that I had a good knowledge foundation to start with.

Yes – I also worked for an association called the UK Space Life and Biomedical Sciences Association, helping to raise the UK’s awareness of anything happening within the field of humans in space. I do this on a voluntary basis.

I check my emails many times a day; in fact I always have my inbox open 🙂 Much of what I do requires collaboration with many people in different countries in the world, working in different time zones. The easiest and quickest way for me to see any updates would be via email, as this is the most common way that we communicate (what did we used to do without emails hey?!). When you start working, you will realise just how important emails are and how often you will use them 🙂
