• Question: Why do you find bacteria interesting?

      With bacteria, you’ve got one cell capable of living and sustaining itself on its own or working with its own species or other bacteria to form a community. Whereas for us to survive, we need something like more than 1,000,000,000,000 cells working together in harmony (which is an impressive and interesting feat, don’t get me wrong). But bacteria are such fascinating little mavericks to study!
