      Hi @queenhannah,

I haven’t tasted space food myself, but I imagine that most of it doesn’t taste too dissimilar to what we have here on Earth, apart from the fact that we generally get to pick what we want to eat, whereas they are relatively limited. Having said that, their options are a lot more varied than what they used to be! I have some space ice cream at home that I am looking forward to trying!

I hear it would be tasty, but a strange thing happens in space. Your sense of taste gets pretty dull up there, in a similar kind of way towhen you have a cold. Apparently, astronauts use hot sauce to try to liven things back up. 🙂

I have eaten both space strawberries and space ice cream!! They were both a little bit dry and crunchy (like a cookie) because they had taken the water out of them to make them last a long time! The ice cream was also room temperature, so was a little strange that it was not cold. But they were both yummy!

Lets link up with Sam on the ISS to show you how she makes her lunch 🙂
