Question: imagine the world was a big ball and inside the world were houses where we live and you were in space would you be able to put your hand through the top of the ball also I thought we lived inside the world and my science teacher just told me we live on top of the world ???????????????????

This a good way of looking at the world 🙂 The Earth is already shaped like a ball 🙂 There is the rocky ball which makes the ground and we live and build houses “on top” of that. Then there is another layer to the ball which is the atmosphere (air) and we live and build houses “inside” of that :). So I think both you and your science teacher are correct when you look at this way. We live both on top of and inside the world 🙂 Outside all of the ball is space where the astronauts live! Because you can move through the air layer, you could put your hand back inside of that. So I think the answer is yes! But if I am not following your question quite right, then post a comment and I can try again 😀
