      Hi @747nch25,

      The Aurora Australis is the Southern part of the Aurora Borealis also known as the “Southern Lights” instead of the more common “Northern Lights”. You can see these clearer from places like Australia and New Zealand.

      Julia is absolutely right. Did you know we can sometimes see the Aurora Borealis in the UK? Several have been seen in parts of Scotland and England this year. 🙂

      Exactly as the others have said! It’s the South version of the Northern Lights!

      Fun fact: the Aurora isn’t strongest over the poles themselves, but over a ring around the poles..
